Upgrading Met: With or Without Custom Styles?

Yes yes... we've been meaning to upgrade for over a month now. The upgrade script works, but we don't have a custom layout yet *smacks Yukie*. Soooo we can upgrade and get the new RPG started but deal with the default vBulletin layout. Or we can continue waiting on the layout *LAZY YUKIE*.

Please vote.

I'd personally want to upgrade and get it over with before school, or my parents, or both kill me so maybe I'll upgrade regardless of what the majority wants... but eh. Here is a poll anyway.

note: I'm sorry... Anxiety level is very high because my major advisor thinks I'm stupid, my minor advisor is telling me I'm wasting his time, and my poor engineering advisor is stuck with a senior who is about to shoot herself down because her parents are making it seem like her life will end if she does not graduate and find a high paying job by this may.

I don't care either way. But yeah, default VB layout is pretty ugly. Just hold a pair of scissor's to Yukie's internet connection and threaten to cut if she doesn't finish layout. Mwuahaha

I like the custom styles, but if it's easier for you to just upgrade, then I say do it. So... I guess my vote goes to upgrade. ^_^

It's a very odd transition going from crappy default layout to the RPG layout by the way.

Coding is different, and the format in the CP is different. It's easier in that it's more user friendly, harder in that well.. it's more user friendly.

Um... possibly never. That was part of the RPG hack, but I think if we know how the PHP and stuff is written and the how the cp works, it shoudln't be too hard to add back. But in the grand scheme of things, which includes taking over the world, the RPG avatars are not high priority. ;)

Not sure. Faith's been playing around with that feature. We might try to incorporate it into the RPG, but we'll see.

I'd love to see a new layout. Don't get me wrong, I love Lord of the Rings... but I'd be much happier with a Final Fantasy theme.
