Caffeine? Addicted?

Lately, I've noticed that I've been visiting coffee shops more often than usual. Buying more caffeinated drinks than usual... like I graduated from starbucks' frappcuinnos, to machiattos, moccas ... exploring the world of ... caffeinated stuff. :3

Any caffeine addiction stories to share, guys? :3 har.

Venti Iced Caramel Machiato (comes with four shots, I usually have them add an extra three shots), that's like $4.00, and two cans of Starbucks Double Shot (each can has two shots of espresso). That basically totals to around 11 cups of coffee for me that night. Anyways, that was early December, finals week and I had a lot of projects dued at work.

Oh, that doesn't include all the times I get hooked up at Starbucks. I go so often that they give me free drinks when the manager isn't around. Bwahahhahaha! It's scary when Starbucks staff and patrons know your favorite drink (and how you want it, extra shots, nonfat - hate whole milk) and pastry.

I know what you mean, the people at Second Cup already knows I love Caramel Chillates during warm days, and Chocolate Banana Lattes for cold days... non-fat with whipped creme... topped with choco sprinkles and caramel. haha. :3

When I went to Vegas the last two times, I trekked down two blocks from the MGM to get coffee and pastry for breakfast.

I've only been to that Starbucks twice and I still can "picture" the layout of the store. I think I need to seek help from a support group....

I've now my own cappuccino maker at home. Only reason I don't drink it would be 'coz I'm too lazy to clean up after. Caffeine intake during times when assignments are due is 7 mugs of instant coffee one after the other non-stop. Rarely keeps me up and awake anymore -.- ..I think I need to start drinking more water than coffee..

Tall/Grande non-fat White Choco Mocha with whipped creme
Tall Caramel Machiato with whipped. :3

Second Cup:
Large Caramel Chillate
Large non-fat Chocolate Lovers: chocolate banana Latte :3

Everyone should tyr the chocolate banana latte. *_* so gooood.

Well, better to say "caffeine addicted" than "drug addicted". :3 Besides, drug addict usually implies to "bad" or "harmful" kinds of drugs. I don't think caffeine is harmful, if it is, it's not noticeable. :3 I drink it to keep me awake. :D

Caffeine's harmful if you take it in copious amounts >_<;; It makes you jittery, overly hyper, or anal retentive, depends on the person drinking it but no one ever got a good result from downing *too* many espresso shots. .... Except maybe a research paper turned in *on time* XD

used to be sorta addicted to Starbuck Iced Coffee a couple of years ago due to late working overtime. I'm not drinking coffee at the moment, but positive that the current favourite iced tea with milk won't be such a better way to detox myself. =P

mmm... thought that caf made the heart beated somewhat faster, but don't think it can keep us awake all the times. there are many who can sleep deeply, though having just drunk coffee.

Have you ever fed a younger hyperactive kid with cofee? I did, and the results were almost harmful. He bumped into a wall 3 times, and his head was about to implode. :p ;)

I usually have a cup of tea in the morning, when I'm at work and at the other days I usually have a can of coke. I wouldn't say I'm addicted, though.

Espresso shots are dangerous. My coworker's boyfriend used to drink like 5 of those a day and then he got a kidney stone. ><;;;; So, beware of those.

Starbucks... I go there occasionally. I used to go to The Coffee Bean a lot when my friend worked there, but not so much anymore. I still prefer the Coffee Bean over Starbucks, though... Their Iced Blended drinks still actually taste like coffee, unlike Starbucks.
