well mine was a while ago and it was alright...waaaaay too much work though. all the teachers gave so much homework on the 1st day.
My first day of university (http://www.uwaterloo.ca/) lectures was last Monday, it went a lot better than I thought it would. Since then, after having 10 school days elapsed, it hasn't exactly gotten any worse or any better.
I'm not sure how to put it all into words, if I concoct something, it I'll reply again then, I suppose.

The only one I took last year was Computer Science, har, look at me go...
Anyway, senior year is not that easy, but before you know it, it's going to be over, heheh. Just remember to apply early. ^^ I could've missed deadlines if I wasn't paying attention. :/

My college sucks D: Needless to say, I didn't have that much of a great first day (a month-ish) ago at school xD
I'm doomed. So I arrive a bit earlier for my first CS class. Some person is sitting outside of class playing her gameboy. Please keep in mind that I'm at a university. Another two guys are talking about some elves crap, some Dungeons and Dragon crap. So I'm like, okay, whatever. Then the prof comes by. He's coming in with a Bobba Fayet (sp) the Bounty Hunter from Star Wars backpack, you know the ones elementary school kids wear. He has a pen pocket protector and hikes his socks up like a soccer girl (or cholo). Oh, and he has a fanny pack which he wears during lecture too.
Jesus.
Hey, Dungeons & Dragons is cool. ;_;

Hey...what are you all uptight about?
I'm not, seems more like elementary school than university.

My firstest day of school started me being late for our group class (you know, the class where the teacher tells all the rules and you just sit and sleep through it), and when I DID go in, some guy tells sarcastically that 'the group just keeps growing'....I got a little angry at it, so what if I'm new and don't know how to get around?
First real day was quite fun, since we had biology with a hilarious teacher (she's even brought snakes into class!), but during math and Swedish the real work began....I mean, I knew upper secondary school was supposed to be tough, but that was a LOT of homework....O_O

It was so hectic! My schedule was all messed up, and I was so upset because this is my senior year and I don't want anything to go wrong. It took me three tries to get everything in order and I'm still regretting what classes I'm taking now.

i have all AP my senior year too ;.; its gonna be so hard! i'm scared lol
You people do realize that all you need to do is cram for the AP Exam, pass it with a 3 or higher, and you get college credit. You don't even need to take the AP course. The AP course just preps you for AP Exam.....

The AP course just preps you for AP Exam.....I think some schools are going to ask more than 3 to get credit. Also, taking an AP course looks good on your transcript. Though, yah, your average gets owned. ._.

AP U.S. History was HORRIBLE! I thought I was gonna lose my mind, but I passed it and got a 3 on the AP History exam. So I guess it was worth it.
Personally, I foun AP US History to be the easiest because it was just history taught over and over and over again since like the 5th grade (with a little more info). I mean, realistically, any history class you take over high school was the same stuff they taught you in elementary school.

Well duh, they're not going to teach you anything new. It's History class. It's supposed to be old. They call it History for a reason.

First day of Uni... and I already missed one class
GO ME!
First day of Uni... and I already missed one class
GO ME!My friend got lost on campus on the first day of school. She gave me a call and I had to go find her, and then I brought her to the building of her first class, but she said she just wanted to go back to residence. ._.
So yah, she missed her first and only class of the first day of uni.
There's a pool hall on my campus... god, that pool hall is going to flunk a few of my classes.

I'm taking 3 math classes. One of my professors is bona fide geek material, and another professor has a thick asian accent that may make it difficult to understand what he's saying, not to mention he probably has never taught before. But the material itself looks easy enough. The first day went smoothly...although the math homework is really gonna pile up. Better that than spending endless hours in a computer lab bashing my head on a desk to debug a program.

If there's anything here that'll flunk a few people, it'll be the bars and clubs in and around campus.
And I found out how different British education and British-styled education can be... X_X

I've been in class for 5 weeks now and um...it's ok, I love my computer applications class (so damn easy) all of my classes are so easy but only 1 confuses me (my damn literature class) it boggles my mind how Dr. LaCroix can tell you something and then jump on something else...she lost me a while ago. v_v;;; stupid. I love my dorm room (not my mate though, damn preps anyway) sports, kick ass, boys (*drool*) I got me a special one though. He's a sex god. Um...yeah, can't wait til I go home and tell people.
anyone else? lmao

Well...I kinda HAVE to take Swedish, it's my country's second national language, so it's obligatorisk...it's not nearly as much fun as it may sound like. And we have the other languages too, and German on top of it! :D
But, umm...I don't understand any English studying terms....what's an AP class?

I did that for my uni apps one year before I was due to graduate from college. I nearly ended up without a university to go to... of course, that's partly due to my crap results...

an AP class is an Advanced Placement class... basically, you take a college-level class in high school and then take a big standardized test in May-- some colleges will give you credit if you do well on an AP test.

I'm enjoying this year as my last "easy" one, as next year I start IB's. English, History, French, Art, Bilogy, TOK... Oh well. I'll stay alive. I've got to get myself into some sort of habit of studying this year...
Might I inquire as to what is "TOK"?

Theory of Knowledge. Its an IB requirment. Don't have it this year but I'll have it next year.

First day of school was... tedious for me. Had double math that day *not fun*.
Am also taking IB diploma this year... It's not as bad as what some people make it out to be (or maybe it's only cause I just started out). The only negative aspects are that the workload is heavier (compared to what it was before for me... which really wasn't all that much) and after school classes. x.x
That and my TOK teacher is a nut @_@;;
