Even people like myself that stares at a computer all day goes outside to get some fresh air once in a while. Whenever I have to meet someone, I've always tried to be there 10-15 minutes before the designated meet time. I've succeeded in reaching that goal consistently across my brief years of existence on Earth. Why do I do this? Well, I don't want to be late, being late bugs me, big time. I go early even if I know the person or people that I'm meeting with will be late, my cousins are an excellent example. I just think, maybe, just maybe they'll be there early this time, or maybe this time I won't wait so long for them. Yeah...no. Just last week, I had to meet them and I sprinted my way over to the meeting place as I had lost track of time and was able to arrive about two minutes earlier. My cousin arrived about ten minutes after the designated time, following that, my other cousin and my aunt arrived twenty minuters after that (so it sums up to those two being thirty minutes late total).
There's only been a few cases in which I've gone early and the other person also happened to arrive early moments after, causing us to take off minutes before the actual start time. There's also been the similar case in which the other person was earlier than myself.
So, what best describes your view of getting somewhere on time? Do you head off earlier than needed just in case because maybe they'll be there this time? Or maybe you arrive about two minutes give or take around the meeting time, because well damn, we said we'll meet then, so I'll just arrive then! Or maybe you try to be on time, but there's always something between you and your destination that hinders your advancement, thus causing you to be late every single time?
